Borno First Lady Continues Distribution of Sen Oluremi Tinubu's Committee On Women Affairs Gesture To Borno IDPs.... ages of 0-5 years, from 9 IDPs Camp, within the Maiduguri and Jere Local Governments areas through the humane gesture of Sen Mrs Oluremi Tinubu headed Senate Committee On Women Affairs donation in Conjunction with Future Assured Initiative Foundation to the IDPs, enters it's second day today, 5th of October, 2016,

The wife of Borno state Governor, who is also the founder/CEO SWOT Foundation, Her Excellency Hajiya Nana Shettima, in addition to feeding the undernourished kids in the camps, has also embarked on distribution of writing materials to all school age Children in all the 9 camps.

She flagged up the distribution with a symbolic presentation in Dalori one and two camps respectively. The distribution was reflected in all the remaining camps.

It could be recalled that, Senator, (Mrs,) Oluremi Tinibu with her team was in Maiduguri to assess the relative inadequacy of balanced diet, especially among the children between the above mentioned age in the various camps located within the two Local governments areas.

The age category of the children has also been extended to even those from the ages of 7 years.

The feeding programme is expected to last some time so that the protein requirement of the children in the IDPs camps will be meet up through the process.

This will in no small measure rise the growth and development of these children, so that they can favourably compete with  their mates within  cosmos.

During the symbolic presentation at the two camps, the amiable and compassionate First Lady ever in the history of Borno state, Her Excellency, Hajiya Nana Shettima, urged the pupils to concentrate in their studies so that they will become useful members of the society.

Her Excellency commended the efforts of both the Senate committee on women affairs and Future Assured Initiative for coming to the aid of the children and also prayed for the restoration of absolute peace and tranquility in Borno and the nation at large.

In all the remaining camps, similar presentations and feedings of the under nourished Children was conducted. Further more, reports sent in from all the camps to Borno Social Media Frontiers, indicates that, the second day of the programme was successful.
