It appears that the recent economic recession is affecting everyone in the country as award winning Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe-Gentry was seen selling roasted plantain on the street of Lagos. According to the picture she posted on Instagram, Mercy Aigbe was dressed in
an Ankara gown with a coal pot in front of her, as she roasted her plantain and waiting for customers to patronize her. She posted the picture with the caption: “Economy Recession don hol me….come and buy boli oh”
Speaking with news men, Mercy Aigbe disclosed that she was seen selling roasted plantain popularly known as ‘boli’ on the set of a new movie and urged her fans to watch out for the movie. Chai…this economy bad o!
